Local Coordinators Receive Training in Paraguay

In January, a group of BYU students and their professors traveled to Paraguay to facilitate training for our local coordinators. They were able to present the lesson plans and videos they had created and get feedback on how to improve them for LCF.

Malnutrition in Viru, Peru

This past June, two members from our Board of Directors traveled to Peru to address the needs of malnourished Latter-day Saint children living in Viru, a region devastated by floods and mudslides last spring.

Screenings in Zimbabwe and Madagascar

In July and August, members of LCF's board of directors traveled to Zimbabwe and Madagascar to conduct training for our program coordinators and assist in screenings. Here are some pictures from their adventures.

LCF Opens in Madagascar

With the help of local volunteers from the Madagascar Cooperative Foundation, LCF is now helping malnourished children in Madagascar! Read more about the initial screenings that took place in July.

Ghana 2017 Screening Results

In June, volunteers from LCF screened 282 children for malnutrition in Ghana. Over half of the children evaluated were malnourished.
