Lauro and Agrica Yoshino
Lauro Yoshino joined the church in 2007. He was married to Agricia Adrieth Pimenta Yoshino on July 23, 2010 and sealed in the Recife, Brazil temple. He has served as a counselor and President of the Young Mens organization, ward secretary, bishop, and currently serves as the second counselor in the Stake Presidency in Belém, Brazil. He is employed by the LDS Church in Brazil in the area of self-sufficiency. He acts as the self-sufficiency manager over the Brazilian states of Pará and Amapá. Lauro graduated with a degree in Food Science from the University of Pará State and learned about food nutrition. He also received a Post Graduate degree in Production Engineering from the University or Pará State. Lauro loves new challenges and helping those in need, especially children. His greatest dream is to live on a farm in the countryside with his family where they could live more healthy and simply. Agricia Yoshino joined the church in 1998. She and Lauro have a daughter named Aiyumi. Agricia has served in the church as a Nursery leader, music conductor, second counselor in the Relief Society, second counselor in the Primary, Stake music leader for the youth, Second counselor in the Young Women’s organization in the Utinga ward, Relief Society instructor, and as the Stake music leader for the primary. She graduated from elementary and secondary education in Brazil’s public school system. She also has experience with sales, service, public administration, and finance. Her greatest dream is to go back to school to study infant nutrition. She now devotes most of her time in the raising and teaching her daughter. She loves serving people and especially enjoys giving anonymous service.
